The Fun Diet is for anyone who feels stuck with their weight or overall body health. I have seen some lose hundreds of pounds, and I’ve seen others get rid of that last 10 pounds of stubborn weight. Surprisingly it’s the same process and the same types of things that help both. The outside is a reflection of the inside. This program is for anyone who has ever felt shame from the diet yo-yo or has dreaded seeing old friends or family because of their weight or how they look. If you have ever worn a t-shirt in the pool, so you don't get made fun of or if you’ve ever said the words, “I can’t be thin” then this book is for you. If you are anything like me, you’ve been happy being heavier and never considered it to be a problem but deep down you wish that it didn’t have to be that way.
The FUN DIET starts with preparing to tackle nutrition and exercise by working on the reasons why we are stuck. Then we build our strength and resolve through mental exercise and emotional balance. We find foods that are exciting and methods of exercise that are fun and add those to our lives. The decision to remove the things that are stealing joy, and taking away from reaching our goal is not part of the program; those things will naturally fall away.
